Tunisia enters semifinal in Junior Handball worlds

Tunisia reached the semifinals of the World Junior Handball Championship held from July 17 to 31 in Thessaloniki, Greece, beating Spain 31-30 in a quarterfinal match on Tuesday, the official press agency TAP reported on Wednesday.

Tunisia's Amine Bennour topped the scoring list with 10 goals to help his team grab the narrow victory.

Tunisia will play against Denmark on Thursday, while Egypt will face Germany in the other semifinal clash.

It is the first time for two African teams to enter the last four of the World Junior Handball Championship.
