Iran beats Algeria 36-28 in Men's Junior World Handball Championship

Iran defeated Algeria 36-28 in the Men's Junior World Handball Championship in Thessaloniki, Greece, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported on Monday.

It was Iran's third win in the tournament. In group stage, Iran had beaten Canada and Hungary, but lost to Sweden, Spain and Portugal.

The Iranian handball team is competing for the position between 9 through 12.
