The Dutch goals were scored by Maartje Paumen at 40, 51 and 61, as well as Marilyn Aliotti in the 8 minute, Ellen Hoog on 24 and Kim Lammers at 29 and 46.
Meanwhile, India scored through Rani Rampal at 22.
It has been the worst loss of India at a World Cup.
The Netherlands, coached by Herman Kruis, has three points in a group also featuring matches of Germany vs New Zealand and Australia vs Japan.
At a press conference, Kruis said: "In the second half, we attacked better, we achieved a better game and we also controled the ball for most of the match."
