Pakistan again qualified for the final of the 2009 World Twenty20 in England, and grabbed the trophy defeating Sri Lanka by eight wickets.

First semifinal will be played between England and Sri Lanka on May 13 at Gros Islet in Saint Lucia, West Indies.

The winner of the semis will go for final at Bridgetown on Sunday May 16.

Following many controversies surrounding with World champion Pakistan cricket team, earlier every one opined that this team will not manage to stay in the tournament.

Pakistan's performance in the tournament was not impressive and it might be eliminated from the tournament. But with their wonderful performance against South Africa, Pakistan paved its way to reach the semifinal.

It is positive that Pakistan players are confident but they can materialize their nation's hopes only if they beat Australia, unbeaten in the tournament, in the semifinal on May 14.
