Bill Demong of the United States won the gold medal of the men's Nordic combined large hill/10km cross country at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics on Thursday.
Demon finished the ski jump and cross-country skiing with a time of 25 minutes and 32.9 seconds to claim the title, four seconds faster then his team mate Johnny Spillane, who won the silver medal.
Bernhard Gruber of Austria came in third, 10.8 seconds slower than Demong.
