Emil Hegle Svendsen wins men's 20 km for Norway

Norway's Emil Hegle Svendsen won men's 20 kilometers of biathlon Thursday in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics Games.

Svendson, who previously won a silver medal in the men's 10 kms sprint, finished first in 48 minutes and 22.5 seconds. His compatriot, Ole Einar Bjoerndalen, took the silver medal, 9.5 seconds behind Svendson.

The Belarusian Sergey Novikov also grabbed a silver medal with the same time as Bjoerndalen.
