Wang Jing, who has been involved in a doping scandal during the ongoing Chinese National Games, said on Monday she has never taken drugs willingly and asked strongly for further investigation into her doping case.

"I have never taken any drug willingly in my life and I have never accepted any drug from anybody," Wang, a Fujian province representative, told Xinhua.

"I felt regretful about my result which surely had negative influence on the National Games, but I strongly asked the concerned bodies to investigate into the whole case and tell everybody why my sample tested positive."

According to an official with the Fujian delegation, Wang has been training with the national team since the Shanghai Grand Prix last September before arriving in Shandong for the Games on Oct. 18.

Wang said she accepted the sample A result and gives up a further test on her Sample B.

The sprinter won the gold medal in the women's 100m on Thursday but was stripped of the title after she was found to use banned substance.

Shen Chunde, a top official with the athletics governing body, told Xinhua that a life ban will be given to the sprinter and her coach as a part of the serious clampdown upon the use of drug cheats.
