German and Japanese athletes got the gold medals of women's and men's 100 meters in a World Cup speed skating meet here on Sunday.

China's Xing Aihua got the silver medal in the women's 100m with a career-best time of 10.27 seconds. Germany's Jenny Wolf took the title and South Korean Lee Sang-Hwa finished third.

The men's race was won by Yuya Oikawa of Japan. South Korea's Kang-seok Lee finished second and China's Yu Fengtong got the bronze.

The men's and women's 1000m were won by Simon Kuipers and Laurine van Riessen, both of Netherlands, respectively.
