Wang Manli, who won a silver medal in speed skating at the Turin Winter Olympics, won the Lifetime Contribution Honorary Award in Changchun City, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province Saturday.

The 35-year-old Wang, won a great many gold medals in international competitions, but a silver was her best performance in the Olympic Games.

She retired because of injury in 2007.
