Peru's grandmaster Julio Granda won the "Villa de Benasque" international chess event in Zaragoza, Spain, on Sunday, according to local press.

Granda won the tournament after achieving 8.5 points.

The event also featured important chess players Levan Aronian, Elizbar Ubilava, Vladimir Baklan, Keven Spraggett, Alexander Delchev, Rasul Ibrahimov Romani Edouard.
