World and Olympic champion Guo Jingjing and her partner Wu Minxia claimed the last synchronized gold of the National Diving Championships here on Sunday.
In the women's three-meter springboard synchronized final, Guo and Wu performed steady and showed a class of their own by totaling 348.00 points, beating their closest rivals Hou Yuanyuan/Fang Min of Sichuan, who posted 329.81, by more than 30 points.
The bronze went to He Zi and Dong Jun of Guangdong at 322.50.
"I'm satisfied with our performance today," said Wu. "We will keep training hard to get better."
"We didn't focus on improving our difficulty degree," said Guo, winner of the women's 3m springboard at the Athens Olympic Games and 2007 Melbourne Worlds. "It isn't the most important thing."
"Now the Olympic Games is coming and we don't have much time," added Guo. "We need to train harder."
