Japan's Tohoku Free Blades and Anyang Halla of South Korea were both crowned Asia League champions after the cancellation of the finals in the aftermath of the March 11 earthquake in Japan, Japan's Kyodo news agency said.

The league had been unable to go ahead with the best-of-five finals as the Japanese club was to host the first three games on March 12, 13 and 15 in Koriyama in nuclear crisis-hit Fukushima Prefecture

Tohoku clinched its first Asia League title, while Halla won its second straight.
