Brazilian defender Paulo Marcos de Jesus Ribeiro signs a four-year deal with Super League club.(CRIEnglish.com)

Guangzhou Evergrande has signed for Gremio defender Paulo Marcos de Jesus Ribeiro on a four-year contract, the Chinese Super League club announced here on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old full back is expected to head this weekend for South Korea, where Evergrande are training in preparations for the upcoming season.

Gremio's spokesperson Jose Simoes called the deal great for all parties involved. According to Simoes, Evergrande club president personally traveled to Porto Alegre in order to close the deal.
