Brazil will create in near future a Brazilian women soccer cup, with the same format of the traditional men's tournament, local press reported on Friday.
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) concluded Thursday an evaluation report about the clubs that maintain women teams, and the entity is actually preparing to launch in the end of October the new tournament, said the news portal Globonews.com.
According to the news portal, world soccer chief Joseph Blatter has called for the launch of a female league in Brazil.
