Hong Kong to send 136 athletes to AIG in Macao

Hong Kong will send 136 athletes to take part in the 2007 Asian Indoor Games (AIG) in Macao, announced the Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China on Friday.

The Hong Kong delegation comprising 199 members would participate in the forthcoming AIG, which will be held from October 26 to November 3 in Macao, in 14 sports including indoor athletics, cycling, hockey and Lion Dance.

Hong Kong sent 34 athletes to the first AIG in Bangkok, Thailand, and claimed 12 gold, nine silver and five bronze medals.
