Women's soccer experts, commercial affiliates and key decision makers from all six confederations as well as FIFA's 203 member associations gathered here foor the 4th FIFA women's soccer symposium on Friday.

The symposium is set to announce the results of various in-depth assessments conducted by FIFA's development offices and women's soccer specialists from more than 100 countries and regions.

"The future of soccer is feminine," said FIFA president Joseph S. Blatter. "Nowadays we have 265 million players, which include 26 million female players."

"That's one of 10. The women's soccer is developing rapidly."
