World and Olympic champion Guo Jingjing showed her absolute dominance in women's springboard diving as she took her second gold in the Nanjing 2007 world series diving tournament on Sunday.

Guo Jingjing was never challenged by her opponents in the final when she scored more than 80 points from all her five dives. Her winning mark was 413.60 points.

Wu Minxia, who teamed up with Guo to win the 3m springboard synchro gold on Saturday, was a distant second place at 383.10 points.

Wu also had five excellent dives in the final, but she had to lower the degree of difficulty of her dives because of injury.

That makes it impossible for her to challenge Guo Jingjing.

The third place was taken by Yuliya Pakhalina of Russia at 332.30, followed by Tania Cagnotto of Italy in the fourth at 291.40.

Both Pakhalina and Cagnotto were in bad form as they made fatal mistakes in the final. Pakhalina was lucky to win the bronze medal as she only scored one 40 minus mark while Cagnotto had two.
