Russia shot down the team title of the men's 10m air rifle with a total of 1,777 points here on Sunday at the 24th Universiade.

The 22-year-old Sergey Kruglov, the runner-up of the European Championships in 2006, led the three-man squad with 595 points in the 60-shot qualification round while Denis Sokolov, 24, gold medalist of the World Cup Final in 2005, shot 592 points.

South Korea snatched the silver medal by better results from the last series than Germany, both of which collected 1,771 points.
