Already, Ilorin is agog for the much-publicised duel which many soccer fans have tagged a-must-win encounter.

With five new players signed early this week, the coach Kafaru Alabi-tutored side are really fortified for their ambition of lifting the trophy after failing to win any diadem in the local league.

Speaking ahead of Saturday''s match, midfielder, Babatunde Yusuf said nothing would stop Kwara United from ''killing'' Ismaili to claim the three maximum points.

"We have really worked hard toward this game and we are looking forward to an outright victory today. Although we respect the Egyptians, we do not fear them. I don''t think we can afford to pick a draw in the match because we really want to put back our ambition on track having lost our first game to Dolphins in Calabar a fortnight ago. We want to crown the season by lifting of the trophy, " Yusuf said.

For Ismaili''s head of delegation, Kamal Saheed, the game would be a tough one, as they are hoping for a draw in Ilorin. "We are here for a tough match and my team is bent on taking at least a point away from the game."
