How we can manage a stable exit from the hypernormal stimulus plan will be the main theme of China's economy in 2010, remarked Ba Shusong, researcher with the State Council Development Research Center February 2.

Ba noted that China's new bank loans hit 9.59 trillion yuan last year and the growth rate exceeded 30 percent. This unprecedented measure has had a great significance on China's recovery, however, the Chinese government and entrepreneurs will have to work out an exit strategy for the stimulus policy.

"The country's economic growth may slow down because of the exit strategy, but it will be more sustainable."

As for the monetary policy in 2010, Ba estimated that on the basis of "moderately loose", the policy will be tighter in the first half this year but will become looser in the second half.
