The Dongxing Trade Zone was officially launched on Nov. 1, and is the largest China-Vietnam trade zone, according to the Dongxing Municipal Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
According to sources, the Dongxing Trade Zone, located on the eastern shore of the Beilun River, the boundary river of China and Vietnam, is an important project supported and developed by the Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and is also a major project of the business base planning and construction in the Guangxi Northern Bay Economic Zone. The project covers a total area of 513,000 square meters and a total construction area of 1 million square meters.
The project involves investments totaling 2 billion yuan. The construction of the project includes an import commodity market, export commodity market, urban business, support systems of trade and living systems.
