State Grid plans Malaysia business

The State Grid Corp of China and Malaysia Development Bhd, a government funded organization, will set up a joint venture to undertake a number of power projects in the Malaysian state of Sarawak, the Business Times reported, citing Prime Minister Najib Razak.

The joint venture will undertake the projects under the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy program, Najib was quoted as saying by the newspaper.
