The designing of Shanghai Tower has been officially unveiled recently. Shanghai Tower will be China's tallest skyscraper when it is finished. The building, designed by the U.S.-based Gensler architecture design, planning and consulting firm, with estimated total investment of 14.8 billion yuan, will be finished in 2014 and will have a height of 632 meters.

The building will be among the top three tallest buildings in the world. Experts believe that the Shanghai Tower will jointly form the "harmonious skyline" with Jinmao Plaza and Global Financial Center becoming a new landscape in Shanghai.
