The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project of the China CNR Corporation Limited (CNR) is now ranked as number one among the initial tranche of central enterprise informationization demonstration projects, according to a report issued by the State Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) on December 30.

The implementation of the ERP project put CNR firmly on the road to restructuring and gave it a reinvigorated development platform, with the integration of informationization and industrialization and the attendant economic benefits firmly on its agenda. As almost all aspects of production can be specified and detailed through this information system, any businesses economic benefits and competitiveness can be hugely enhanced.

As part of the process of ERP project implementation, CNR sought to highlight the standardization of its enterprise information management platform.
