Over 2.4 bln yuan worth of new business projects created at CIGAC 2009

25 project agreement deals worth 2.44 billion yuan were concluded during the China International General Aviation Convention 2009 (CIGAC 2009).

22 of the 25 total projects are aviation industry projects that will be carried out at the Xi'an Yanliang National Aviation Hi-Tech Industrial Base with the contract value totaling 2.4 billion yuan. The remaining three aircraft transaction projects involve 10 utility aircraft with a contract value of 40.80 million yuan. The projects cover seven major fields in four key areas – R&D of utility aircraft, parts processing, new aviation materials and general aviation services.

During the convention, 589 representatives of businesses and public institutions in countries and regions such as Germany, U.S., Canada, Sweden, South Korea, Japan, Denmark and Hong Kong attended this conference, and 89 enterprises in fields including aircraft manufacturing, pilot training and R&D of avionics participated in the aviation equipment and material exhibition of the convention. The exhibition, which had 73 standard display booths and 16 special booths covering a total area of 2,530 square meters, mainly displayed light aircraft, helicopter, aviation equipment and materials as well as relevant products.
