The gold price in Hong Kong dropped 216 HK dollars to 11,032 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to 1,188.46 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 23.27 U.S. dollars at Wednesday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.792 HK dollars.
