China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange closed at 2,586.21 points Monday, up 72.99 points, or 2.90 percent from the previous close.

A Share Index: 2,711.29 points, up 76.41 points, or 2.90 percent;

B Share Index: 221.73 points, up 8 points, or 3.74 percent;

Total Turnover: 81.69 billion yuan (11.98 billion U.S. dollars).
