FDI into UK hits record high

Foreign investment from China in the UK has maintained strong growth from 59 proj-ects (2008-09) to a new record 74 projects in 2009-10 fiscal year, according to UK Trade & Investment Annual Review. China has become the sixth biggest investor of projects in 2009-10. The 25 percent increase in projects is accompanied by a 76 percent increase in jobs generated.
