During the first ten months this year, the crude oil output has increased, but the gas output decreased, said the Energy Ministry on Monday.
Statistics showed that from Jan. to Oct. this year, the crude oil put increased 0.8 percent year-on-year to 410.3 million metrictons, while the natural gas output declined 16.7 percent to 450.3 billion cubic meters.
Meanwhile Russia's oil exports increased 2.6 percent to 203.9 million metric tons, while gas exports down 21.3 percent to 123.6 billion cubic meters.
The Russian economy relies heavily on oil and gas resources. As the world's biggest natural gas supplier, its crude oil deposits also ranked eighth in the world.
