Stocks close lower in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil

Latin America's three major stock markets closed lower on Tuesday.
Mexico City's IPC stock index closed at 31,245.83 points, down 2.47 percent. A total of 351 million shares were traded with a volume of 755 million U.S. dollars.
At the Buenos Aires stock market, the Merval index ended at 2,175.19 points, down 1.28 percent. The trade volume was 14.091 million dollars.
In Sao Paulo, Latin America's biggest bourse, the leading Bovespa index finished at 61,840 points, down 1.91 percent. The trade volume reached 3.354 billion dollars.
