U.S. stocks rebounds on strong economic reports

U.S. stocks rebounded on Monday as a couple of latest reports showed that U.S. manufacturing sector continued expanding in January and consumer spending edged higher in December.

The Dow Jones industrials rose 118.20 points, or 1.17 percent, to close at 10,185.53. The Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 15.31 points, or 1.43 percent, to 1,089.18. Nasdaq composite index rose 23.85, or 1.11 percent, to 2171.20.
