It appears Google may be ready to roll out its own cell phone, the Nexus One phone. Google has sent out an invitation for a press event at its headquarters on Tuesday.
The company didn't give much detail, but the event is related to its Android cell phone operating system. It has been widely reported that Google is developing its own device to compete with the iPhone.
There hasn't been much leaked directly from Google about Nexus One. There have been some online leaks that are saying the phone will be a GSM-device with a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, accelerometer, compass and will run on the Android operating system, Android 2.1.
