Since most signs point that the impact of the global financial crisis is weakened, people believe that the recovery of world economy is on the horizon. The "BRIC", representing new emerging economies, took lead for the recovery of 2010 world economy. China economy became the driver for its good development trend and the outstanding contribution to the growth of world economy.

The new round technology revolution, characterized by Green, Intelligence and Sustainable Development, is struggling out. Companies are now subject to economic transformation. In the after-crisis epoch, only the visionary companies, which are also able to dig their infinite creativity, can occupy the positive position in market competition, grasp the initiative, lead economic trend and dominate the consumption market. APEC is the most important and vigorous regional cooperation organization in the Asia-Pacific region. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are the most active economic group, which are focused and concerned by APEC 21 member economies. Presently, SMEs account for 60 percent of domestic Economic Aggregate, for 50 percent of tax and employ 80 percent of the work force. SMEs have become an indispensable energy to accelerate the harmonious development of China's economic society, and also the vital element of China economy.

APEC SME Summit focuses on the development of SMEs, which provides guide to SMEs and provides a wide platform for trade and technology communication and cooperation in Asia-Pacific region. With the theme of "Creativity of SMEs", this year’s summit will search for the new growth point of future economy. How to win the business opportunities and seek development in the new model of economic development? Following the mainstream values of “ "Innovation, Environmental Protection and Sustainability", government officials, prominent business and academic figures will get together in Sichuan Shunan Bamboo Sea, to sum up past with their wisdom and experience, and to focus on the future.
