Both sides called for an increase of investment projects and a free trade agreement to facilitate the flow of goods between the two markets.
Otri said it is necessary for the two countries to establish new cooperative projects and joint development projects in economy, trade, industry, agriculture and tourism.
For his part, Mohammadi said his country will start to provide gas to Syria and set up an oil refinery as soon as possible in the light of the agreements, the report said.
Meanwhile, Syrian and Iranian officials also agreed on Wednesday to form new joint companies specialized in investment, real estate, infrastructure and food industries.
