Thailand's gross domestic product (GDP) for 2010 is estimated to grow in a range of 4.3 percent to 5. 8 percent year on year, Bank of Thailand (BOT) Governor Tarisa Watanagase said Thursday.
The country's growing exports are expected to boost the country 's GDP in 2010, the Thai News Agency (TNA) quoted Tarisa as reporting.
It is estimated the country's 2010 exports will grow about 14 percent year on year, or equivalent to over 174 billion U.S dollars, according to the Thai Commerce Ministry.
Negative impacts from the recent political crisis have already been factored in the BOT's latest GDP forecast, the BOT Governor explained.
