The U.S. dollar fetched the upper 93 yen range early Thursday in Tokyo, almost unchanged from its late Wednesday quotes in New York.
At 9 a.m., the dollar changed hands at 93.86-88 yen against 93. 76-86 yen in New York at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Financial markets in Tokyo were closed from Monday to Wednesday for the Golden Week holidays.
The euro traded at 1.2813-2815 dollars and 120.30-32 yen versus 1.2809-2819 dollars and 120.18-28 yen in New York late Wednesday.
