WB to assist Vietnam on science, technology

Vice President of World Bank (WB) Janamitra Devan said here on Thursday that WB will step up its efforts with the Vietnamese government on promoting the development of science and technology.
Devan made the remarks while meeting with Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan here on Thursday.
He said that WB will help Vietnam organize a conference on the reform of science and technology this year and work with the Vietnamese government to design a cooperative project on this field in the near future.
Speaking at the meeting, Nhan appreciated the WB assistance in a lot of fields, especially in science and technology which supports the Vietnam's socio-economic development.
