Rio-BHP tie-up delayed

Anglo-Australian mining giant Rio Tinto Tuesday said its massive iron ore joint venture with rival BHP Billiton would likely be delayed due to regulatory constraints, further casting shadow on their synergies in Western Australia's resource-rich Pilbara region, which has already been opposed by steel makers in Asia and Europe.
