
On July 1, 23,000 tons of coal used for power generation in Shanghai was shipped to the coal terminal at Yingkou Port in Liaoning Province. By June 30, the handling capacity of Yingkou Port in the first half of 2009 reached 88 million tons, up 13.9% year-on-year. The containers’ handling capacity has achieved 1.209 million TEUs, an increase of 19.94% over the same period last year.
