China's patent applications up 21.1% in 2007

The State Intellectual Property Office of China accepted 694,000 patent applications in 2007, up 21.1 percent, according to a press conference by the Information Office of the State Council here on Thursday.

By the end of 2007, China had accepted four million foreign and domestic patent applications, according to the conference.
