At the Fourth EMBA Perspective Forum held in Beijing on May 21 and May 22, Miao Gengshu, president of the China Council for International Investment Promotion (CCIP), said the amount of China's foreign investment that is actually in use amounted to 105.7 billion U.S. dollars, 17 percent higher than last year, topping 100 billion U.S. dollars for the first time.

This number not only reversed the downturn seen in 2009, but makes China No.1 among developing countries and No.2 in the world.
