UEFA delegation plans to inspect Ukraine's four cities to host UEFA EURO 2012 on August.
The group of experts headed by UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino, is due to arrive in Kiev on August 11, Ukrainian media cited Markiyan Lubkivskyi, the head of UEFA's Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and Director of EURO 2012 in Ukraine, as saying on Friday.
The experts will focus on inspecting construction of airports and stadiums in Ukraine's capital Kiev and western city of Lviv, the venues which UEFA criticize for falling behind preparation schedule.
"The resume of the inspection will form the basis of delegation 's report at UEFA Executive Committee meeting on September," LOC's press officer Anna Dobko said.
UEFA President Michel Platini visited Ukraine's four hosting cities on April. He had discussed his concerns with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, giving the country two-month deadline to catch up with the schedule.
The soccer European Cup will be jointly held by Ukraine and Poland. The two countries won the hosting rights on April, 2007.
Four Ukrainian and four Polish cities are chosen to hold the event. Kiev is the venue for the final match.
