"We should seize this opportunity for dialogue," Maria Luiza Ribeiro Viotti told reporters, referring to a nuclear fuel swap agreement reached by Iran, Brazil and Turkey on Monday.
The Brazilian ambassador made the remarks as the United States circulated key elements of the draft resolution to the full 15- member Security Council on Tuesday afternoon.
She said that Brazil will not take part in any talks on the draft at this time because of the "important" agreement.
