Coca Cola's partner in Angola to triple production in June

The SEFA soft drinks plant, a major partner of Coco Cola based in Angola's central Huambo province, is expected to triple its production from June this year to meet soaring market demands, the official news agency Angop reported on Tuesday.
The daily production of the plant would be lifted from 3,000 to 10,000 crates as of June this year after a new filling line commence operation, Commercial Director of the company Augusto Gomes Rodrigues was quoted by Angop as saying.
The official said the installation of the equipment had been completed and the management was awaiting authorization from the Coca-Cola Company to start operation to meet the rising demand for soft drinks, and the company would also produce the Sprite brand.
Augusto Rodrigues said besides Huambo, the SEFA products were also sold to neighboring Bie and eastern Moxico provinces.
Currently the plant operates with a 125 workers in the sectors of production, stores, distribution and sales.
