Tunisia's Industry and Technology Minister Afif Chelbi resigned on Monday from the country's interim government, the official TAP press agency reported.

The resignation comes one day following the resignation of the former Prime Minister Mohammed Ghannouchi and in the wake of resurgent clashes between demonstrators and the police during the weekend.
