Muammar Gaddafi is about to address the people of the Libyan town of Zawia near the capital of Tripoli, the state TV said.

The upcoming address is the second to be given by Gaddafi since anti-government uprising and protests swept Libya over the past days. The Libyan town has been attacked by troops belong to Gaddafi. Dubai-based Al-Arabiya TV confirmed the attack. "What happening in Zawia is like genocide, hundreds of dead and wounded," eyewitness told the TV via the phone.
