Dubai-based Al-Arabiya TV said Tuareg tribes took over the headquarters of an oil company in Ubari city in southwestern Libya.

The leader of the Al-Zuwayya tribe in east Libya told Al- Jazeera TV on Sunday his tribe would cut oil exports to Western countries within 24 hours unless Libyan authorities halt their heavy-handed security crackdown on protesters.
