100 protesters killed in Libya's Benghazi: TV

Some 100 protesters have been killed in the Libyan city of Benghazi by the security forces on anti-government protests which erupted four days ago, the pan-Arab Al Arabiya TV quoted Human Rights Watch as saying on Sunday.

The Human Rights Watch, citing medics and witnesses, said the death toll hit 100 in Benghazi with the death of 20 on Saturday.

No official statements and comments have been issued by the Libyan authorities on the death toll.
