Supporters of Tunisia's unity government clashed with protestors on Tuesday on the Avenue Bourguiba, however, no injuries were reported, the official press agency TAP said.

More anti-government and pro-government demonstrations are also expected on Wednesday as a cabinet reshuffle is imminent. Scores of people are still involved in a sit-in at the Kasbah in Tunis, calling for the resignation of the current unity government.

The former speaker of the country's Chamber of Advisor, Abdallah Kallel, currently under house arrest, has resigned from his position, TAP reported on Tuesday.
