14 killed in road accident in north of Cairo

A truck collided with a microbus full of passengers on Qalub Bridge, leading to a traffic stop for one hour.
The driver of the truck lost control of the steering wheel as the tire burst on the highway connecting Cairo and Alexandria.
The bodies of the dead and the injured were evacuated to a nearby hospital of Qalub and an investigation has been launched by the police.
More than 7,000 Egyptians die in road accidents every year due to bad road condition and irresponsible behavior of drivers, causing yearly 2.8 billion U.S. dollars of loses and destroying 18, 000 vehicles.
